Maui Oil Company is seeking a full-time Business Development Analyst to join our Sales team in our Central Maui office.

We are looking for… a motivated, enthusiastic, conscientious, detailed, analytical and results-driven Business Development Analyst professional with knowledge of the Maui, Hawaii community to join our ohana. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting sales operations, doing data collection, completing comprehensive sales trend analysis, lead qualifications, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This position collaborates with sales representatives to optimize sales strategies for new business opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and promoting our comprehensive range of petroleum and lubricant products

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, in Business, Comm., Marketing, or a related field preferred. Relevant exp. considered in addition to, or substitution of education.
• Three (3)-Five (5) years of data analytics and forecasting experience is required.
• Prior work experience in sales, data analytics, customer service and/or relationship and account management preferred.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of the businesses, communities and culture of Hawaii.
• Prior work experience in petroleum or related industries, such as construction, farming, trucking, manufacturing, auto, and lube center industries is a plus.
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques, statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Must have a thorough understanding of the sales process, methodologies, and metrics.
• Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PP) and have working knowledge of DB systems. Including CRM systems (e.g. MS Dynamics) data visualization tools.
• Ability to use excel to analyze value opportunities is required.
• A natural curiosity/growth mindset for acquiring skills/knowledge/capabilities is valued.
• Must be customer focused, and solutions oriented.
• Must have effective emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication skills to build/maintain strong relationships, and healthy communication.
• Must have excellent written, and verbal abilities/skills to effectively communicate via phone, video, email, text and other form of digital communication.
• Ability to use sound judgement and to maintain confidentiality.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
